Victoria Atkins, MP for Louth and Horncastle, visited the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway with her family on Spring Bank Holiday Monday and took a ride on the train to North Thoresby and back. Victoria met a number of the volunteers at Ludborough station and had a look in the cab of “Bellerophon”, the ancient steam locomotive which was pulling the train.
“Thank you to all the volunteers who make this historic railway such an attraction to people in my constituency and further afield”, said Victoria. “My family really enjoyed our afternoon and will spread the word about the LWR whenever the opportunity arises!”
