The Lincolnshire Wolds Railway is staffed entirely by volunteers, and we are always looking for interested people who can spare some time to help. The running, restoration and maintenance of the railway are all carried out by volunteers at LWR. They are the lifeblood of our organisation.
Volunteering gives you the opportunity to meet new people from all walks of life and gain new skills. There is a wide choice of jobs covering every aspect of the railway's activities.
Mainly Tuesdays and Saturdays — we need people in the Permanent Way, Maintenance and Engineering departments.
When we are open to the public we have vacancies in the Buffet, Shop, Museum, Ticket Office and on the Platform — plus Guards, Ticket Inspectors, Signalmen and Train Crew.
