A coach party of 48 retired employees from the John Lewis Partnership, Cambridge enjoyed a day out at the LWR on Sunday 17th August. After riding on the train and stopping off for refreshments in the Steaming Kettle Buffet a number of the group visited the engine shed. Many remarked how much they enjoyed their visit and how helpful and friendly the volunteers were. One lady described the food in the buffet as ‘exceptional value’!
