1901. You’re invited to a special open day at the Garden Estate to view the property, which boasts acres of beautifully kept grounds surrounding a majestic house to make kings and queens envious. The Garden family have been trying to sell the estate for the past six months, but are reminded daily of a tragedy that took place at the property.
The young scullery maid Mari Gold was found hanged in the stables, and her spirit haunts the grounds of the Garden Estate, turning away any potential buyers. After appointing the help of a ‘spirit cleanser’, the family are holding an open day to show off the house and hopefully make a final attempt at a sale.

- This ticketed event is aimed at adults and teenage children.
- Tea and coffee are served on board. A pre-ordered afternoon tea box can be added for £3 per person — please ask when booking.
- Come along in fancy dress and you’ll receive a sweet treat aboard the train.
- Alongside this, Marc will be performing his Halloween entertainment (the Halloween Spooktacular) in carriages A and B, at no additional cost to your train ticket.
- Notice for dog owners: we use loud atmospheric music for Halloween and the event has a scare element, so we would highly recommend not bringing dogs to the railway for this event.
